Thursday, Sept. 26th - 9:00 a.m. - All livestock can begin arriving
Friday, Sept. 27th - 7:30 a.m.- Market Lamb check-in begins
Friday, Sept. 27th - 11:00 a.m. - All Market Lambs must be in the barn
Friday, Sept. 27th - 4:30 p.m. - Market Lamb Showmanship
Saturday, Sept. 28th - 7:30 a.m. - 2012 Market Lamb Show
Judge: Announced Mid Summer
2013 Market Lamb Identification Rules/Forms
All market lambs must have hair sample (DNA) on file to be eligible for the 2013 Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Stock Show. All materials must be obtained through your local County Extension Office.
The cost to exhibitors will be $5 per head. The cost to Nebraska 4-H'ers and South Dakota 4-H'ers is $6 per sample making them eligible for Ak-Sar-Ben and the Nebraska State Fair or South Dakota State Fair. This fee covers the expense of materials and handling. County Extension Educators wishing to request Market Lamb identification materials please contact 402/554-9600 ext. 111 or

Deadlines: All DNA samples for Market Lambs are due to the Ak-Sar-Ben office by June 15, 2013 unless an earlier deadline has been set by local county extension office.
Premium Book Links
All Lambs that go through the Auction and all Lamb Challenge Lambs will go to harvest. Exhibitors can signup at Check-in to send their lambs to harvest, please refer to the Premium Book for further information.
